“You may see 1,000,000 and one the reason why you should not go down,” Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards.
There had not been any British ski jumpers within the Olympics in any respect since 1928. Eddie Edwards was probably not an athlete. He was extraordinarily nearsighted, too heavy to be a ski jumper, and had no cash or funding to coach for this costly sport that he’d should do internationally. However he needed to be an Olympian, so he used secondhand gear to coach, and stayed wherever he may (together with psychological institutes), with the intention to qualify as Britain’s solely participant.
This can be a quick interview and recap of his 1988 Olympic leap that made him a legend.
